I'm looking at the possibility of using some sort of price channel setup to
detect intraday breakouts.
The problem is that if the price gaps overnight - the channel gets pierced
on opening - which is clearly a false signal.......... then I have to wait
for enough bars before I get a correct signal - in which instance a valid
signal that had commenced on the day may have been missed.
Is there any make an indicator start calculating from the beginning of a
trading day rather than continuing with the data from the previous day?
