[amibroker] I've problems with the BARCOUNT concept, please

I understand that "...BarCount constant gives the number of bars in 
array " but does this means that ALL the arrays (EOD) of a particular 
share have ALWAYS ONE and only ONE barcount ?

I ask this question because that is what I understood at first but in 
fact I note something different and I'm quite lost !
For instance, is it normal that Barindex be very greater that 
Barcount?
