If you only need to change a few numbers you could do that in quote editor
within AB

Before i do an Import, my Wizard.Format, and Default.Format files now looks
like this, as Tomasz suggested:

The first couple of lines on the Import Wizard Define Fields, Data File
Sample looks like this:
$SEPARATOR ,,,,,,
$FORMAT Ticker,Date_YMD,Open,High,Low,Close,Volume
TIVO,1/2/2003,5.29,5.47,5.11,5.35,438300
TIVO,1/3/2003,5.39,5.68,5.17,5.65,571200
TIVO,1/6/2003,5.7,6,5.64,5.93,863700
I must change the Column 2 format to be MDY, it always comes up YMD.
I still get the same errors:
Logging started for 'C:\Program Files\AmiBroker\TIVO.csv' file, using format
definition file 'Formats\wizard.format'
Error in line TIVO,1/2/2003,5.29,5.47,5.11,5.35,438300
Invalid date format/value

AND the Wizard.Format file is now changed by AB to:

Is there something in a setup menu somewhere i did not set up correctly???
Salil, thanks for the offer, but i don't think there is anything wrong with
my quote file. i have NEVER had a problem with downloading data from Yahoo,
except some stocks/Index like ^DJI has no history available for the last
couple of days... the file i am using is a file which AB generated via the
Tools/Export. this should insure complete compatibility.
