Al,
FWIW... take a look at Gyration wireless mouse (and keyboard).
Mouse is not limited to operating above any given surface and it
scrolls horz & vert. Operates computer from 25 ft away.
Also FWIW... any wireless mouse is probably better than corded mouse.
