I highly recommend SecondCopy, a set and forget
backup software you can find at <A
href="">www.secondcopy.com.
It not only supports selective backup and
compression (standard ZIP format), but also supports synchronization, which I
use to sync the "My Documents" folders of my PC and Laptop.
I also use it to copy TC2000 data from Laptop to PC
so I can use the data on both places with only one subscription.
Very useful if you have multiple computers on a
home network so that they can back up each other. Also good with an external
drive, or two physical hard drives on the same computer.

Subject: [amibroker] Backing Up
Data
Group,Speaking of backing up data, can someone
describe their way? I have data in both ascii and metastock both going
back for quite a while. I plan to burn it to cd's. Do you do it seperately
in years or by market. What about compressing the data. Anything else to
keep in mind?I changed the title for future reference.
Thanks,John--- In amibroker@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
