RE: [amibroker] Backing Up Data

I have a 2nd comp networked and backup data files to this nightly. I use a
program called Replicator which allows for time schedule backup. Saves me
having to remember it.
I also back this up to cd when I remember, normally weekly.

If you back up to CD remember that the files are normally saved there as
Read-Only. Best way around this is to zip the files first and save the zip
file to cd.

Group,

Speaking of backing up data, can someone describe their way? I have
data in both ascii and metastock both going back for quite a while. I
plan to burn it to cd's. Do you do it seperately in years or by
market. What about compressing the data. Anything else to keep in
mind?

I changed the title for future reference.

Thanks,

John
