hi BM,

I confirm that the built-in uses the Preferences|Indicators|Stochastic
values.

I did the steps a) thru d) below and for Preferences|Indicators|Stochastic
values of 14, 3, and 3 for range, %Ksmooth, and %Dsmooth, respectively, I
see NO difference in the resulting curves.

However, when I changed the %Ksmooth and %Dsmooth to anything other than
'3', interestingly the default for both in Help, the differences are very
noticeable.

Sorry, but I don't have an explanation, other than that's the way TJ
designed it.
