Using QP2 database.
Earlier today I tried to display chart for QQQ and AB couldn't find
it. As a matter of fact, no stocks could be found that were
alphabetically larger than M.
I took a look at my Watchlists and BIG SURPRISE... no symbols appeared
in my watchlists that were higher than alphabetic M.
Fixed problem (maybe) by doing File -> Database settings -> Configure
-> Retrieve
Then spent the time to rebuild all my WatchLists.
I seem to have access to all symbols now BUT the Progress Bar seems a
little whacky on backtests. It immediately starts out showing 35%
complete even though it's only on the first 10 or 20th symbol... then
it slowly upticks until finished, and the further up the alphabetic
chain of symbols, the slower the progress bar movement.
The Progress Bar has to have some stored number of symbols in the
designated watchlist in order to calculate the percent progress, and I
wonder if I might need to do something else to reset the symbol counts
in my system.
One other change to my system... I just uploaded 4.49 last night and
haven't run a backtest since then until now.
Or maybe it is my imagination... Once bit, twice shy.
Anyone else noticed Progress Bar anomolies?
