I meant what happens in amibroker's native database. 
If you have new data in your external database then yes AB will attempt to
save them - it treats new data from external source like any other change.
Once new data are saved and no new updates are in external source
then there should be no save prompt (unless you really change something,
draw a trend line or so ...)

If you use external data source it really does not matter, anyway
data are fed from the plugin.

By saying "no" you may just loose drawings that you have added
since last save.

Franky I have this message box switched off (Tools->Preferences->Misc)
and the database is always saved without prompting.
