And don't forget http://www.incrediblecharts.com/index.htm It's a free, online charting package with basic charting capabilities and some fair scanning options. Only problem is you have to be online - but other than that - it is good value, excellent support and Forum discussions. I'd strongly recommend that as a starting point for virtually anyone.
