I am a low tech person, but here are some old posts
that I saved regarding this subject. I am going to want to do this also next
week.   Ron D

I just upgraded computers and used this
software with a funky name to move all of my programs and data:

<a
href="">http://www.jandr.com/JRProductPage.process?RestartFlow=t&Merchant_Id=1&Section_Id=1365&pcount=&Product_Id=3580931&Sort=

It worked very nicely and for the price
you can&#8217;t beat it.  I had some issues with my Outlook settings but
it saved me countless hours. It moved all of my 17 gigs of data and programs in
around 2hrs via a home network I installed to connect the old and new
computers.

If you use the above all you would have
to do is: after it finishes download the install files for Amibroker 4.3 and
install it.

I'm planning on getting a new computer or either
having my present
hard drive formatted, and moving up to Windows
XP.  I'm running
currently AB 4.20.   My question is what
would be most efficient way
to save my current data and then put the newest
version of Amibroker
on the new or formatted hardrive that will have
Windows XP on it.
All input will be much appreciated.  Thank
you.

you have to find Store Folder in options. Then just copy this folder. It
should contains dbx files (Sent Items.dbx). Remember that when copying on CD
the Read Only flag is set and it should be removed to work with OE.
Addresses are .wab or .pab files.

Both data are normally in \windows directory.
