I am using quotetracker to feed AB.
I am using the latest versions of both products.
AB4.40.3 std version not real time.
QT 3.2.3D
I am running these on a 2 gig cpu with 512 ram
Whether i try to update 1 stock or 140 stocks.....or whether i update
10 bars or 1000 bars...the update always seems to take about 8
seconds.
When the update occurs the cpu load spikes to about 40% at its peak
momentarily.
The issue is that this seems like a awful long time especially if
only 10 bars are being updated for 1 stock. During these 8 seconds AB
is not available for any other input including menu clicking etc.
I have set number of sheets to 1 also but this had no effect.
Is there anything else i can change to reduce the length of time it
takes AB to refresh from QT?
I searched a bunch of previous messages related to this issue but did
not find the answer i was looking for.
