Hello,
It means database BASE TIME INTERVAL can be 1, 5-, 15-, EOD
(as in eSignal in fact). This is the interval at which data are STORED IN THE DATABASE !
The VIEWING interval can be any N-minute interval.
where N =1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,.......
The interval for VIEWING is generated on-the-fly by time-compression
of 1-minute bars (if base time interval is set to 1-minute)
BTW: it is described in User's Guide: Tutorial: Beginners charting guide.
