I don't understand. You should be able to stick any type of data
field in to a variant, yes?
I've never tried an array of strings in vb or vbscript, so perhaps
the problem lies there.
I wrote an amibroker script to import a bunch of .csv files each one
into its own watchlist. It is clumsy but it works. I used the ascii
import stocks method and referenced a separate format file for each
watchlist.
This method won't solve your desire to read TC2000 watchlists
dynamically, but it does save repetitive keystrokes.
I think the Fast Track plug in reads the user's watchlists, but I
could be wrong. I know it sets up the Fast Track fund families
inside AB.
