All,
I have been unable to get EOD from Yahoo for the last few days. I
changed my setting in AmiQuote as suggested by Tomsaz:

If you are using Cable modem - you should go to Settings page
and set "initial delay between requests" to 300 and limit
the number of simultaneous requests to 2 or even 1.
This is because Yahoo staff after recent problems with internet
worms and othe denial-of-service attacks added
a blocking mechanism that blocks every computer that
sends to much requests simultaneously.

BTW, GREAT support.
Has anyone else with cable modems at Adelphia.net had similar
problems?
