I'm in the process of assembling a laundry list, Tomasz.
Some of it relates to the junk symbols and the need to
configure/retrieve the data in order to access new or renamed** symbols,
even with local storage disabled.
I was about to say 'of course, I'm aware of <<a way to quickly import /
export watch lists stored in QP2-standard .LST file.>>', but a quick
check shows I wasn't.
It doesn't work, however, for any of my lists--e.g., it imported
JNPR,8.860,9.130,8.730,9.080,11279130,02/21/2003
MUSE,5.870,5.960,5.710,5.910,556629,02/21/2003
OSTK,16.410,16.600,16.410,16.560,40000,02/21/2003
and the trailing values confused it.

**Name changes are saved in q2namec.dbf.
I was looking thru the oil/gas field services sector today and EGY show
'not enuf data'
Popped over to QP and 'twasn't there.
Popped to Yahoo! and it said 'changed to ENY' [news as of 2/11].
Opened q2namec.dbf and voilla!

Hmm... the only outstanding issue is getting more fields using
GetExtraData()
function. Do you see anything more?
I will add those missing fields after the release of 4.30.

Well, QuotesPlus got lots of attention back in December 2000.
It was actually the first data plugin ever written for AmiBroker.
It was the first to feature GetExtraData and the first and the only one
that allows to access fundamentals.
If there is anything more that I can do for QP2 users I am keen to
listen.
BTW: Maybe you are not aware of it but version 4.29.1 (and higer)
features
a way to quickly import / export watch lists stored in QP2-standard .LST
file.
See Import/Export options under Symbol->Watch list.
