Correct - QP2 and AB charting values/dates are
the same.
Interestingly, when you bring up the chartof the
corresponding index from the HGS warehouse module (i.e. the industry monitor 200
overview), then the last bar´s date is different and of course the OHLC values
as well.
An example: QP2 and AB display the last bar as
07/19, high @ 98.72, whereas HGS warehouse module and doubleclicking the index
there (to get to the charting) displays last bar as 07/26, high @
93.81.
So, the questions as to how to retrieve the most
current data for these indices (which are much more detailed than the broader
sectors!) still remains.
I might ask this question to QP2 as well where the
difference results from since QP2 and HGS are somehow affiliated and there
shouldn´t be any difference in their data reporting!
Whaddya think, TJ?

for Industry monitor 200 in AB and QP2
TJ,
absolutely correct:
Markus,
Launch QP2 Chart program : Start->Quotes Plus Release
2.2->Display Charts.
Enter the same symbol as you are using in
AmiBroker.
Then compare values displayed - they will be
identical.

Subject: [amibroker] Differing values
for Industry monitor 200 in AB and QP2
Folks,
if my eyes aren´t deceiving me, the charts from
HGS differ remarkably in their OHLC values when imported via QP2
plugin.
Take for instance the Utiliy-Water
index.
Last friday´s high in HGS is around 106 whereas
in AB it is diplayed as being around 129.
