I think its a good idea.
The way I see it is like this:

There would be a new forum system using a threaded discussion style: 
each topic would have its own page. Then, we could create the 
tutorial / faq by simply linking the discussion that tackle a 
subject/example/formulas.... that would deserve to be linked in a 
tutorial / faq page.

This would be easy to do. It would only require a forum setup (I 
suggest Vbulletin.com).
