Good to here from you,  I think you will find the AB group is made of a
diverse range of users some interested in code others in systems others
just in how it apply AB to good use in there trading. Many just watch
from the side :)

Watching maybe... but more likely find it extremely difficult to make
any contribution to the complexity of code/discussion that has been
presented recently - other than to say... 'what the hell does that
mean...??' :-))

For myself I'm not requesting an explanation either. I freely admit, I
just ain't at that stage of programming, and may never need to be.

What ever your poison is,  we would love to here from you its only through
sharing that you can grow and AB with it

How right you are.

We are blessed with a developer TJ who is only to willing to listen to users
idea's and implement them where possible.

Too true. 'Blessed' is an excellent description for I've never felt so
well supported, nor felt that money has been more than well spent for
any software that I've registered for.

I see AmiBroker as 'software in development' - ie not yet complete, a
dynamically progressing piece of work, that reflects the needs of its
users - a mammoth task in itself given the wide range of interests and
skill levels that have surfaced in this group. All of whom would like
to see their favourite things implemented - eventually.

Consequently, there are going to be items not mentioned in the help
files, new additions to the betas that are only slightly documented.
Some key presses and clicks that may be considered quirky or
non-standard. Some facilities that may be already present in those
'leviathans' of software (MetaStock, Trade Station etc) but not yet
implemented/considered for AmiBroker. IMHO not an environment for the
impatient or demanding.

Maybe you could start a thread on a topic that is of interest to you ?
I'd like to hear how users develop and test there trading systems
look forward to hearing more from you soon :)

Can I take this opportunity to congratulate you on a well written
response. One that is far more appropriate than what I had in mind at
around 2am when I decided to go to bed and sleep it off :-))) I would
also like to thank you for your positive and lively contributions to
this group.
