I am really beginning to like that ability to use JScript for example
and access the object data. My brother and I are going to write a
series of Perl scripts to extract the stocks assigned to each
industry. Then we can easily assign the appropriate IndustryID (and
MarketID). I can post those scripts in the files area if there is
interest (and if they work!).

Two more questions for now:

1. I would like to spend some time to create a nice database,
complete with all nasdaq and nyse stocks organized into appropriate
industry and sector, and historical quote data. Then I would like to
backup that database for future recovery (in case of reinstall or
damage to the database itself). What files in the AmiBroker program
directory are recommended for backup? It appears the data folder is
essential (probably I could use WinZip to help archive). But then
the other files such as broker.prefs seem important. Which files and
directories specifically need to be archived ?

2. I noticed that the volume is a constant color. Clearstation's
website color-codes the volume bars in the following method: blue bar
if the stock closed higher than the previous close, and red bar if
the stock closed lower. Is this a useful feature to implement in the
future?

Once again, thank you very much for maintaining this list. I am
getting excited all the time about the possibilities with AmiBroker!
