You may have accidentally made
the folder you are "missing" a subfolder by inadvertently dragging the missing
folder into another one. The new subfolder will not show up at
first. I have done this several times myself. If this is the case,
look to the left of any folder name to see if there is a + (plus sign).
If there is, click on that sign and any subfolders will be shown. If
indeed your missing folder is there, just drag it back to the "Local Folders"
folder at the top of the list and your folder should be reinstated. I am
running Outlook Express 6.0. Your version may be different.

Subject: Re: [RT] XP outlook Express
question
Sorry but I evidently missed the first post on this topic. Also,
I don't use Outlook as it's so full of holes but if a file is missing from
the folder and you can find it on the hard drive, just click on it and move
it back to the Outlook folder it belongs in. If the file is no
longer on the machine, download it at Microsoft's web site. If it's a
data file, create a new folder for it under the main program folder.
(Be sure to include the file extension).
Good luck to whoever is having this problem

As a last resort,
you might try turning your computer off while Outlook is running. Not
shutting down, just pressing the reboot button. This will force Outlook to

For some reason I all of a sudden have
a email folder that has disapeared from my Outlook Express.
I can do a search and find the DBX
folder that I am missing, but it is not showing in my Outlook
Express.
Does anyone know how to get that folder
that is still on my hard drive back into my Outlook Express as it
once was.
Thanks
