Here is a picture of my long term trading
indicator
its used to pick tops and bottoms on any stock,
index, commodity,, etc

it only trades 10-20 times per year
when it closes under the lower line ,and then cross
back above the lower line ,,its an official buy, right now looks to me we are
very close to a temp bottom
and
a 15-30 points up is the most to hope
for
as the rest of the picture is still
grim

Here's what the spx wave count looks like to me. Wave A from 10/11

bottomed 11/12 and wave B peaked at the .618 retracement of A on

12/11. We're in wave C down and this structure is wave b of 2 which

has high odds of being a complex correction (makes a new low during

the corrective process). That suggests near term we make a new low

below the late November low (wave 1 of C) and then rally in wave c of

2 to finish wave 2 of C.
If the larger frame goes to its typical 7
  waves (ABCXA'B'C') wave C
will probably be about 1.618 the length of wave
  A. That targets the
area slightly below 1300 for the next stopping point
  in a stairstep
bear move with much time left to go.

Biggest high and low we had in
2007 was at ONE pm ET.
