Hello,

All I am tying to point out is ,,that statistics  has its limitation,,,

and

yes

over last 220 years,, it shows that better than 90% of the time ,,next year should be a banner year,

however,

I do not trust this train

and

would rather  enter on a major lows , this  year,

especially  with my conservative money,

and had no intention to  speak badly about anyone,

just keep you alert, and try to conserve your capital,

best regards

happy healthy and wealthy year to you and family

Ben

Ben,

You’ve lost me on this one.  I see no performance numbers below? Just a quote for a year end number back in 1999?

I assume once again this is some sort of tongue in cheek comment, as it would be a good way of losing everyone’s respect on this forum by rambling on about something which makes no sense.  To even suggest you might be selecting one period in the past where the Presidential cycle didn’t work would be crazy, as only a fool would do that to try and prove a point.  Perhaps you should post the correct information Ben so we can see the performance numbers you  make reference to, and to hear what point your trying to make, as I am sure most other reader are completely baffled like me.

Hello,

Interesting to look at the SPX prices last day of the year eight years ago compared to today.

Date

Open

High

Low

Close

Volume

Adj Close

12/30/1999

1463.46

1473.1

1462.6

1464.47

5.55E+08

1464.47

Range thus far today has been 1465 to 1475.

Yearly close could be another line in the sand? It'll be interesting to see what happens with
a return of normal volume and the outcome of the primaries.

FYI this was pointed out to me by mebob247. Though I look at yearly closes from time to time
I hadn't realized how close it was.

Cheers,
Darrin
