Just to comment on your email. I'm using the 8/8/03 version I haven't had any problems with the program shutting down EXCEPT when I close the program and ask it to save it has caused my computer to 'blue screen' crash on several occasions.
I agree with you about all "the improvements" that are being made to Ensign. I'd much rather have a fast, stable, reliable charting program than a state of the art software suite.

Sincerely,
Howard Hopkins

In the last 15 minutes your new program shut down about 5 times. It is impossible to trade when you can't keep the program working. There must be something that can be done to stabilize the program. I don't need it to talk to me, I don't need it to chat with other people. I am looking for a program that I can depend upon to provide accurate charts that I can trade from. The rest of it is just BS and marketing fluff. If I have to shut down the computer to fill in blank data on the quote pages, there is something wrong with the data storage. Why can't you fix that instead of having the program talk to me about an alert that is useless if the chart doesn't have the data to initiate that alert or if I have a zero low reading and the alert goes off because there is a blank data box on the quote page. A stable, usable program should be your goal, not a bunch of Cr-p that means nothing to someone that is trading for a living and not socializing or spending his time back testing . Ensign II did the job as did Ensign VI. What happened to the basic tenet of this program? A stable platform that would provide an actual trader the information that he needs to trade with. Ira.

I just sent this message to Ensign.  If any of
you feel the same way, maybe a post them will help rectify their current bent to
add bells and whistles rather the fix the problems that are there.  Ira.
