I have added nothing to this new computer. It uses
Windows XP and all I run on it is Ensign, Outlook express and Internet
Explorer.  The computer is a new Dell with a 2.4 CPU and plenty of HD
room.   I do play FreeCell every now and then.  I have no Idea
where the conflict comes from.  I am just trying to find out if I am the
only one with this problem.  I have checked using 3 different virus
programs and I have neither a virus nor a Trojan horse.

Is anyone else using XP and having no
problems?  It is not my intent to create a riot, only to try to find a
solution.  If someone other then Ensign can help I would appreciate it as
they can't seem to find the problem.   I have been using Ensign since
1989 and been a satisfied user until this started to happen. Ira.

  Hi,

Thanks for the feedback.  This post from Ira is was originally sent
  to Ensign
about a month ago. He has had problems with this computer for months and

more than 2 dozen e-mail exchanges and phone calls have not figured out
  his
problem.  We are aware of his frequent crashing.  He alone has
  the problem
and we have no idea yet what it would take to fix what ever the problem
  is.

Possibly he has some incompatibility in the creation of his Windows
  operating
system platform in having mixed 'old' and 'new' library files from some
  installation.

  Possibly he has a virus.

The two items we have control over are the Ensign Windows program and
  the
IQFeed program Ensign connects to.  We have verified he and us are
  using the
same versions of these two programs.  We are rock solid reliable on
  our computers,
but he is not.   We have over 100 IQFeed users and they must be
  happy with
the feed and the program because they are not complaining to us.
  Only Ira is
  complaining.

It is unfortunate Ira has elected to air his complaint when he alone has
  the problem.
His problem is not representative of the quality of Ensign Windows, nor
  of our efforts
to offer superior support when there is a problem that our actions can
  change for the better.
I do not have any further suggestions of what Ira might try or do to
  find the solution.

Gee Ira, sorry this is happening to you.
I use Ensign also and see nothing like what you are describing and machine
is on 24/5.  Others in Echat are also not saying anything about this
    happening to them.
Hope it is resolved quickly for
    you.
    Judy

I just posted this in another group.  It
is a message that I sent ot Ensign.  If you feel the same way and are
an Ensign user, it might help if they received other posts that expressed
      the same feeling.
Ira
