I'm
glad I didn't upgrade. They called and did the big sales pitch and said they had
encountered no problems so far.

problems

  10 days ago, I switched from TS6 to TS7
and here are some of the problems I experienced:

  - Re-opening of workspaces took 7.5 min. It
  took 3.5 min in TS6.

  - It took 5 sec to bring up "Format Analysis
  Techniques" which was instantaneous in
  TS6.

  - I imported indicator "X" from TS6 and
installed it. Subsequently, I opened Pwr Editor code
    for<FONT face=Arial
size=2>  indicator "Y", revised it, verified and closed. When I
tried to insert it, I got the message
"Study not verified" with a reference to
indicator "X" which was already installed. When I
    opened the code for "Y"<FONT
face=Arial size=2>  to verify it, the code was <FONT
face=Arial size=2>for "Y", but the name was that of "X".
Only after deleting "X" from the program
was I able to get "Y" installed.

The same problem was encountered by my friend when 2 indicators,
  both verified before,
were imported and one of them was being inserted. Message
  "Study not verified" appeared
and when the code opened, it carried the other
indicator's name. The 1st indicator had to be
deleted for the other to be installed.

  - After opening TS7 in the morning, I found
all price bar charts squeezed into a flat line at the
top of each chart. Only after reloading
  did they go back to normal;

  - Some Pwr Editor windows opened without X in the
upper right corner and they could only be
closed by going to "file, close window".
  It was completely random.

I lost 2 days of trading by struggling with
these problems, finally gave up, went back to
  TS6 and
wrote to Robert Jones, Mgr of Tech Support. My email was never
  acknowledged.
The same problems still exist as reported yesterday by my
  friend.
