The
story brought back some fond memories of "slower" times. I am in my mid 40's. It
seems what appealed to me in the email was the simpleness of times past.
Everything is so rushed now it seems.
It
reminds me of Ted Kazeneski (sp) the Unabomber. I think he struck a chord with a
lot of American people in his ranting about how technology is moving too fast
and it is nearly impossible to keep up with.
Also,
people seemed to have more integrity then. A mans word was his bond. He would
swear to his hurt before he would break it. A lot of business was done with
just a handshake.
You
wouldn't have ever heard of someone suing and winning millions because you
spilled hot coffee on yourself, you would have placed the blame on yourself
where it belonged.
Just
my 2 cents worth>
