Re: [RT] Cycles - Summations and composite?

Generally the "summation" and "composite" of cycles
means the same thing
just whatever someone wants to use.

To perform this operation you would have to have an
application in which you
could specify a frequency, a phase, and an
amplitude for each of the cycles
which you wanted to include.

The application would then compute the sine or
cosine value for each bar
of a chart starting with the first at which the
phase was set and then multiply
the sine/cosine value by the amplitudes you
specified and then sum up
those values for the "composite" or
"summation".

Subject: [RT] Cycles - Summations and
  composite?

Have been doing a little web surfing about cycles
lately and have seen summation of cycles and composite of cycles
  mentioned.
Are these the same.  What does each
  mean?

If you have say a 10 day cycle, a 25 day
cycle and a 70 day cycle.

What would be the summation of the cycles
and what would be the composite of the cycles?  And how is it figured for
  each?
