I also sold my long positions today but did not short anything and have
little intention of doing so tomorrow. When the bear ends, it won't send
us an email saying so. I find equities in the area of being fairly valued
right now and while I can make a strong case for further declines, I can
make a pretty good case that we have found a bottom. Oh well, the real
bottom line is we were way to hell over-sold and now we're somewhere around
where we should be so does that mean we are set to go down again or go up
more than is deserved? Beats me but I need some clues and right now, I
don't have them.
