AOL had a voting session on the Market . Here is what the average man is
thinking .
About 630 PM Eastern ( a lot of the prior voting had to be those with non
traditional jobs or unemployed or students with the summer off. )
approx 110,000 " voters"
50 % think the Market is close to a bottom or about to stabilize.
36 % think we are heading lower.
12 % dont know ( why they "voted "in the first place is a mystery to me )
Will the recent drop affect Retirement plans ?
34 Percent too young to think it matters to them
29 Percent say yes it is changing their life plans
24 Percent are not in the market
10 Percent dont know
Are people Scared about what the Market is doing ?
60 % Yes
39 % NO
Who do the AOL proletariat ( pardon my spelling ) Blame ?
46 % Corporation Corruption
19 % Investor Panic
14 % Government
11 % normal biz cycle
10 % Global instabilty
