$1700 bucks for a desk too much? Not if you spend 8 hours a day at it. I
spent more on a mattress figuring I spend a hugh chunk of my life there, I spend
more at  my desk. Funnily enough I came across this while researching
ergonomic chairs. I'd be interested to know what every one sits on? Withc chairs
running up to $1500 I'd expect something pretty special.

Cheers,
Nick.

  Subject: [RT] Work Station-standing
Does anyone stand at their 'work station' to trade?
I've been sitting for 8years doing this profession and it doesn't take my
medical background totell me it's entirely the wrong thing to be doing,
healthwise, for 6 hours aday.  I've been through every type chair
imaginable but ultimately itdoesn't matter, it's still sitting.  I
know standing and 'shuffling' fromside to side so to speak would be tiring
at times, healthier but tiring.Standing and having the ability to move
around is not only physicallyhealthier, but better mental decision making
processes can be made in theupright position than while sitting.  So
to have the option to continueworking standing but also being able to sit
occasionally would be ideal.Does anyone do this and if so, how have you
put your workstationtogether(computer, monitor positioning) to accomplish
  this?  Thanks, Jim
