Dan,
As Captian Dawn explained it to me...as she was preping her 35 foot
sail boat....northerly means from the north and north bound means
going north.
Then she reminded me that sailboats can go in either direction as
long as there is wind of some kind.
I just bought a book on sailing...I was confused too thats why the
change in wording as of last weekend on the site.
