Please correct my confusion.
If I am driving my car North (compass-wise) am I not driving in a "Northerly" direction?
If a wind is blowing from South to North, isn't it moving Northerly?
I have heard, over the years, TV weather people refer to wind coming from the North as "Northerly."
Confused in San Diego: Dan Nicholas (I'm also in Tel. Book Reinard)
