I had all sorts of problems trying to get
PatSystems to work(not with Refco). In the end I purchased another hard drive
and rebuilt the system. What is the IP address of the server you are trying to
connect with? I'll try to connect from here.

basically cannot connect to the Refco servers.<SPAN

your setup that blocks Java and you will be unable to use the PATS
system. with all the mascinations that MSFT is going through to void
Java, one of your programs might be the cause. that is where I would
look first. EI 5.5 should be OK. I believe that it was IE 6.0 that

particular dns number.When doing a nslookup of that, the domain comes up as

am using Windows 2000.There is no firewall.I do have Microsoft Virtual Machine
for I.E.I am using I.E. 5.5.I am using a DSL Connection.The service provider
seems to be getting the same problem when he tries to ping the Refco dns
