Dear Trading Girl,
You made some comments about trading the subject and I asked a
question with no response...namely performance for the first half of
this year to compare to last year.
You also spoke of trading multiple Big contracts [5] of this. Below
are the performance numbers rounded for each month noted at the site.
They are outstanding but my questions will come after:
Dec '00 $59,000
Jan '01 $23,000
Feb '01 $ 3,000
Mar '01 $29,000
Apr '01 $45,000
May '01 $ 5,000
Jun '01 $ 2,000
Jul '01 $ 5,000
Aug '01 $ 5,000
Sep '01 $14,000
Oct '01 $49,000
Nov '01-$ 6,000
Dec '01 $12,000
Jan '02 $ 5,000
Feb '02 $25,000
Mar '02 $10,000
1.Aside from the performance question of last year to this year ,
there is something I do not understand.
2.You say you increased contracts with each $50,000 increase in
equity. That would mean that you blindly started this system in
Dec '00 and made $59,000. You thus would be trading 2 contracts by
Jan '01 without many people even knowing this site existed.
By Mar '01 you would be trading 3 contracts. By May '01 you would
have been trading 4 contracts. And by Oct '01 you would be trading 5
contracts.
In hindsight to date, these are all excellent decisions. But are you
for real to have just jumped into this without watching it first?
I mean you no disrespect but just seek some honest answers as to how
anyone could have the knowledge and wherewithall to have accomplished
what you say.
Sincerely,
John

First I wanted to say thanks to Earl for the educational post on
dividend yield's and such. I had no clue, but I have to wonder if it
will be too late once everyone is seeing signs of a recovery?
My parents are both Doctors and I made more money last year than
either on of them. I don't have my MBA yet (soon) gambling on
futures I did well. I love both my parents dearly, I have
always tried to go against the grain of my upbringing though.
This is a new age and a young persons market place, I think. It is
affluent X gen's who are driving the market place and old money is
just following along. I am a risk taker and understand I could loose
it all. The lack of fear I belive helps me succeed. I always have
"the trust fund" that my conservative parents have set aside. I would
rather make my own money though and be independent.
I didn't see the symbol on BigCharts.com " DTSM " please tell me the
name of the company.
Thanks all, tg
