Nice sarcasm, but if you think what went wrong with that post, there
are number of things:

1. It may fall in 10% error range.
2. It wasn't tweaked correctly.
3. You might overreacting projecting your previous frustration to
this still relatively new field. This isn't a lagging indicator as
you think. If you think that, you are missing the point.

Also Lee is excellent in what he does - programming. Don't expect him
to teach you how to trade. You should know what tools do you need and
ask him to build those.

Gif that I posted wasn't mine. I got it from Lee as a demo and it is
clearly signed by him. Again, this is just an example. You need a
good eye and enough brains to recognize the potential even the
example isn't the best one.

If you treat that post as free advisory service, that could be
another reason for your frustration.

I think later Lee's posts of Hurst Channel with yellow
overbought/oversold zones better show the objective properties of
indicator. If you use them as a filter for mechanical break out
system, you'll significantly increase performance.
And this is doable in code.

I don't know how much should I chew it for you to swallow, but the
tip was free, don't expect me to baby-sit your positions or lay out
everything I know.

If you order Hurst course from
http://www.traderspressbookstore.com/Welcome/detail.html?
cart=02D10lru.cqc&%69tem=%31400

Publisher says in preface that Hurst is well and alive (at least he
was in 1999) and he met him to purchase printing rights. J.M. just
doesn't want to be bothered.
Course is the authentic Hurst course. So if you missed it in 70s
there is another chance.

Greg.
