Possibly so. There are many variations of viruses, and it could have
been an exe that was trying to run. It also could be a Trojan, trying
to send your passwords back to China so it could do more damage. I'd
sure want to know what XYZ.exe is. :-) A hacker might first try to get
as much from your computer as possible, then send itself to as many
people as possible, and then, perhaps after a week or so, when it's
exploited your computer as much as it wants, destroy your computer. Or
it may just treat you as a 'zombie', waiting to do what he wants on
his next attack. Or....

Agreed. That would be VERY nice! I have chosen the route of avoiding
Micro$oft software - I like alternative products a lot, and worry much
less. :-)
