It appears the behavior I am experiencing is OS
specific. What I have is all I can expect with WIN98. Win 2000 is
what makes the difference.
In the meantime I'll stick with what I have. I don't
often want to stretch a chart over both monitors, but there are times when I'm
doing research where it would be handy.
Thanks again for your help

Just Right double click on the chart any where ,,,works
here but I have a matrox under win2000 pro ,,, also
Make sure that under display /settings/advanced/dualhead
/that dualhead Muli-display is checked
What happens when you use the upper right hand max button ,,,does
this go to both screens ?
Make sure the program is maxed into the space too.
Good luck

Thanks for your reply.
However, maybe I wasn't clear. I too, can open a
workspace across two monitors. If I have two or more charts in the
workspace I can display them in the workspace across both monitors.
The problem arises when I just want one chart in the workspace to fill both
monitors, taking up the whole workspace, in other words maximize one chart
window to fill the whole workspace in both monitors.
Are you saying you can do this in your
configuration?

G450 question
It works on my G450 running Win2000 and TS2ki. 1 workspace
across 2 screens.
Make sure to get the latest driver software from the Matrox
website.

Subject: [RT] TS4 with Matrox G450
question
I am running TS4 build 27 under Win98. At the
recommendation of several members of this list, I recently replaced my
old video card with a Matrox G450 dualhead model in order to run 2
monitors.
Everything seems to run fine except I have a question
for those of you running this same video card. In TS4, I can
stretch a workspace completely across two side-by-side
monitors. However within that same workspace I am unable to
stretch a chart window completely across the two monitors so that one
chart fills both monitors. I can move a chart within the workspace
so that part of it is in one monitor and part in the next, but not fill
both monitors with one chart.
Does anyone know if and how this can be done? Or
is this some sort of limitation of TS4?
Thank you for your help,
