Hi Clyde...
To do expansions correctly you need 3 data points an ABC swing.
It seems from your gif you are using two data points only?
I realize most software packages do it incorrectly, but they are
written be programmers, not traders.

There have been many ideas advanced about how Fib values are used.
I got to wondering what would happen if we selected a series of swings
from some significant pivot/turning point and looked at what happened
to Fib lines from ALL of these at once.

Remember, all of these lines could have been drawn on 9/17/2001
if you had believed that was a significant low. Maybe we would have
waited to 10/12 or so but that is still a long way back.
I just noticed I was plotting fib lines from the beginning of each
trendline rather than from the common ending of each trendline
as it should have been.
