****** grrrrrr can mean a lot of things and is not the kind of expression I
expect from a moderator. That fact is you were appearing not to be
moderating, but rather a partisan on John Capello's side with your public
domain statement.

As to your childish threat, I am unimpressed.

****** It was not a threat. It was a statement. When a something bares its
teeth to me and growls, I bark right back. How about learning to express
yourself a little more eloquently, Mr. Moderator?

Had your 'remarks' been made toward any other member of this list, you would
already be off the list.

****** It is fitting that you should defend an injustice with an injustice
given your partisan expressions, so I am surprised by your inaction.

That they were directed to me is tolerated as I expect to take a certain
amount of insults due to the job.

****** They were directly at you because you interjected yourself into the
discussion in a partisan manner. The moderator's job is to facilitate
discussion not stifle it or to act in a partisan role and take sides.

Finally, the "grrrr" post *was* directed at John for putting the issue on the
public list.

****** Gee, there seem to be two "John's" here in this thread. Could you be
more specific about what you wished John had not done, and which John.

Finally, this is getting to be yet another series of angry/combative posts
over past members and they need to end now.

****** Lets see, who showed anger first? The moderator who metaphorically
bared his teeth while interjecting himself as a partisan into discussion
about fair play, ethics and honor? Try saying grrrrrrrr without baring your
teeth. I was aggressive in my confronting John Cappello, not angry. I did
not growl. I measured my aggressiveness with the severity of the offense
that I believed he had committed. I have strong feelings about slander,
personal ethics and fair play and expressed them in a straight forward
manner.
