Another designated market maker that had his cboe start with a ban from
Vegas is Ron Broder(sp). He spoke at a Benjamin and Jerold seminar in Vegas
years ago. Had a photographic memory and systems that were run on Sun
workstations programmed with probability theories by his brother. His cool
calmness(there's that word) exuded an unforgetable confident
professionalism.. Yet, there was no condescension about him as he spoke to
the audience expressing the pit's need for off floor participation. He wore
allegator shoes, dressed impeccably and drove race cars for relaxation...
