Here's a "public" one some Germans are running. It has been up for atleast
a year I think. They aren't posting any results for the time that they have
been running so either it works and they are keeping the good signals for
themselves and letting users come and go or it doesn't work.

I said I know of that project, I did not say I was the creator of that
project. I also know of very successful past attempts using massive
parallel processing by the same as you imply. So it would not surprise
me at all if a multi node Internet project involving thousands or
even millions of computers could perform financial miracles.
I have heard a rumor that this team actually has a virus which could
be released and spread to implant the algorithm into any computer
attached to the net with any type of operating system. It's called
"The Non Prejudice Parallel Processing Project" and uses so little
systems resources it is very undetectable. However you get about 5
million computers plus hooked up to it and, well.
