Yep - we're starting to get good at massively parallel computing. In
the short run, you may deride TheQuant, but he/she will probably have
the last laugh. We are starting to approach molecular computing, which
will facilitate both parallel computing and speed. This will lead to
computers with sizes approaching the brain, but a billion times
faster. In just a few seconds, this computer might do as much as a
human can do in a *lifetime* of thinking.
Make fun of TheQuant while you can. :-)
