Then in your opinion, which is (are) the highest form(s) of adaptive trading?

Today "neural nets" are the lowest form of adaptive trading.
 
What we learned from them and how unadaptive and unanticipatory they were
has been the basis of a whole new generation of adaptive methods.
 
I fully agree that neural nets are very limited in their application to trading.
