Lloyd,
Spam is usually easily identifiable so it can be quickly deleted. I
seldom spend more than a few seconds on a spam e-mail. The most time
comsuming e-mail is the ones by private citizens on lists who ramble on for
many paragraphs while holding out the remote possiblity of sharing some
information that the reader doesn't already know. So, I read on and read on
and read on until I say, gee I have been reading this mastery of the obvious
with no apparent editing for several minutes and I still have not learned
anything. So, the only thing left to do is cut one's losses. Bottomline,
most editorializing, such as this, can be completed in one or two
paragraphs, as not to excessively waste everyone's time. Tip to the readers,
just as in trading, cut your losses.
Cheers,
Norman
