Re: [RT] Oil!

Dorothy,

The point was not geographical in nature, but rather thinking about
problems in a different way than what is currently the convention. Bush
spoke about energy independence a few days ago as a plug for drilling in the
Artic. Bush is stuck in the "oil box". Drilling in the Artic, at best, is a
short term remedy, not a solution to our oil addiction. This is like a drug
addict suggesting the answer to his problem is to find another drug dealer
or a new source for drugs. . More oil will not solve our long term problem
which is an addiction to oil. Where is more oil and more drilling going to
put us in 50 years? I think the answer is that we will be in the same bad
position we are in now. More oil will only serve, at best, to delay the
inevitable. We need to think outside of the box to assure freedom,
prosperity, and security for the US and the Free World. . If elected, I
promise I will.......

Cheers,

Norman
