We will have to fight terrorism on all fronts and that includes US soil. This is not analogous to Vietnam or the Gulf Conflict, they were not a direct attack on who we are as a nation and that is why there was not complete support by the American public. What happened last week was. It will take time for many people to really understand the consequences of what happened and therefore, it will take time to really unite our nation, However, I truly believe that the pendulum has swung the other direction and that we will stand as a united front. Our freedom is at stake here and we will have to sacrifice in ways that I cannot even image, but I would be willing to die for that right. I know what it is like to live under a regime where your freedom and your rights are taken away. My parents and I fled from Czechoslovakia in the late 60's, my parents left everything behind, we came to the US with two suit cases and not a pot to piss in. My parents were willing to give up everything they had for freedom and start again, and the United States of America, has offered me everything that I everything that I could have hoped for and I will protect that to the end.
So the next time, think about the multitude of recent emigrants wether they are first or second generation, they will fight for their freedom along side of all Americans. Therefore, we have no choice but to support our government, especially our military because they will make the ultimate sacrifice.

Marty Armstrong wrote in his February 98 newsletter about his Confidence Cycle model, based on his work in '98 late 2002 looks to be a bottom in the 8.6 year Global Business Cycle. His work predicted at that time a S&P low of 890. I believe that is what may other group members have posted with their recent work. It was interesting to review this article 3.5 years later.
