Dear Funny Friends,
One of my hobbies is comedy. I have been a student of comedy and the
great comedians since I has a toad. My close friends and family tell me I
should quit everything else and become a comedy writer. I don't think that
your supposed tongue in cheek note was structured correctly to be
interpreted as humorous.
However, I think your attempt at humor may qualify for the
Hall of Fame for Unfunny Jokes. Keep trying.
Seriously,
Norman
A bunch of Hollywood joke writers were sitting around one day, swapping
jokes from the joke file that they knew so well, they didn't bother telling
the jokes, they would just say the file number and acknoledge the joke in a
matter of fact way.
A: "42!"
B: "Yeah, that's a good one"
B: How 'bout 34!
C Not bad.
A. Then there's 29.
Suddently one of the writers burst out with a huge laugh, falls to the
ground, and goes into an vitural uncontrobale fit. After a minute, the
histerical writer calms down. The others plead, "what's so funny?" "you've
heard that joke told a thousand times before" "Yea, but I never heard it
told that way!"
