Clyde,
I found a high probability for a higher high for 
tomorrow, by querying on the basis of
a three EOD look back, ie roughly using the last 
three days as a template.
 
Looking at your gif, Have you ever thought of, and 
maybe you already do it, is adjust the swing to 
the low or high that SM finds, on the basis of 
its current  price ratioed to the swing found in the 
past?
That way all the swings are normalized and one can 
then count the number of HH or LL ..
