What other trend definitions or methods are people using out there that they
care to share, or even share a mind set that seeks a trend for self
preservation.
Or pivot method and trend confirming.
I trade off a 5 minute chart(for entry), using standard pivot calculations
(adapted with current day's openig if there is a large gap) from the previous
day. Determine trend from daily/weekly chart. After determining a money
stoploss, use a 39 minute chart to determine where to take profits. I use
fibs, Gartley's and Butterflies for pattern recognition.
